Brave Miss World tells the story of Linor Abargil, the victim of a violent attack and rape in Milan, Italy just before being crowned Miss World 1998. The film follows her fight for justice and her refusal to be ashamed. From the townships of South Africa, to a university culture in the U.S. where reports of campus rape are hushed, we follow Linor's commitment to supporting others whose lives have been impacted by rape. During the film, the serial rapist comes up for parole, threatening Linor's stability. But in her journey from teenage victim of a horrific crime, to Miss World, to empowered lawyer, the power of one individual to make a difference is triumphant.
