Germany in the near future. After the collapse of the EU the country is heavily stricken. The social security systems have collapsed, a large part of the population is sinking into poverty. Alex (Ken Duken), a special investigator of the police, and his partner Sophie (Dagny Dewath) scrutinize the top manager of the DNB Bank, Rainer van Kampen (Thomas Thieme), whose speculations have ruined thousands of small investors. Despite overwhelming evidence no action is taken against him because van Kampen's political connections are too powerful. Furthermore Alex's sister is in despair because of an imminent forced eviction and she commits suicide. Alex just sees one way to stop the practices of the bank: He must become a criminal himself. Still working as a policeman he robs the branch offices of the DNB Bank together with other criminals he could win for his case, and distributes the money amongst the poor. Mercenaries of the bank are on the hunt for him, his colleague Sophie, too, is close on his heels. She does not suspect anything about Alex's double life – until he has to make the decision to reveal his true identity for his beliefs.

Southern Baptist Sissies is a film of the theatrical experience of writer/director Del Shores’ GLAAD Award-winning play about four gay boys growing up in the Soutern Baptist church in Texas. It explores the conflict between the caustic rhetoric of dogmatic religion and the fragile development of adolescent homosexuality while challenging hypocrisy, exposing damage and offering hope. Cotton, a precocious little girl, reaches out to her sister Sunny in Hollywood, calling her home for what could be the last chance to see their mother. Sunny returns home to her small Texas town of Bent Arrow to face demons she has left behind, including her estranged mother. Butch, a man searching for his soul left his life in pro football for the solemn existence of an artist. When the news breaks out that Cotton's mother has passed, the local sheriff brings her custody into question. Morgan, a local investor is trying to put life back into the town and its real estate but not without a cost to the community. Sunny, eventually arrives, finding out not only has her mother already died, but also she has been named Cotton's legal guardian as appointed by their mother's will. Unconfident and doubtful at first, Sunny decides to shut out her previous ambitions of glitz and glamour to invest in a relationship she could have with her sister. As Sunny learns more about the strength within herself, she takes notice of Butch's selflessness and will to care for Cotton. Sunny and Butch ultimately see each other for who they are and find themselves in a position to save the economically ravaged town, while filling the void of both their pasts to bear.

On the job he meets Minister of the Environment Camille Bleibner deciding to blackmail her with incriminating intel. Little did he know that energy tycoon Patrick Jahns made it possible for her to work in the upper political echelons of the federal parliament. He therefore protects her from any dangers. A cat-and-mouse game starts between Jansen and Jahns, with the only purpose of destroying the opponent and thus keeping one’s own dark secrets from discovery.

The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, Tim’s father (Bill Nighy) tells his son that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time.  Tim can’t change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life—so he decides to make his world a better place...by getting a girlfriend.  Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think.

Moving to London, Tim finally meets the beautiful but insecure Mary (Rachel McAdams).  They fall in love, then an unfortunate time-travel incident means he’s never met her at all.  So they meet for the first time again—and again—but finally, after a lot of cunning time traveling, he wins her heart.
